Fine Arts Ministry
|

Mission: The Fine Arts Ministry offers several different ways to
express a person's ministry gift. Our
ministry develops
performers and artists, and fosters on the part of the liberal
arts that God has given us. Fine Arts ministers through:
Mime, Dance, & Drama. God has given us all a talent and
we are ministers of the gospel.
Meeting:
Tuesdays, 6:30 PM

Mime combines drama, dance, and music. It's
a neutral form of communication which can uplift or bring
your down. The face of the performer is painted and black
is often worn to remove all identity of the performer and
to remover the inner man. Well thought movements and dramatic
contents create a picture story that effectively communicates
a visual sermon. It's a powerful tool for evangelism.
Dance is movement of the human body that expressed the
emotions, thoughts, ideas, opinions, and the relationship
between people. Movement can included: jumping, leaping,
swinging, kicking, and turning. There are several forms
of dance used in the church, such as: praise dance, worship
dance, warfare dance, celebration dance, travail dance,
and prophetic dance. God ordained the dance and He uses
the dance of a spirit-filled believer to reflect Himself,
His kingdom, and His power.
Drama is a composition in verse or prose intended to portray
life, characters or tell a story. The ministry of drama
brings the bible to life. Different people learn things
on different levels so drama gives a visual outlook on
God's word. Drama breaks the word of God down for today's
generation without taking away from the text but merely
bringing it to life on the stage.

Music Ministry
|

_Mission: To
help lead _God's people into the _inner court. We want _the
presence of the _Lord to fill the temple _like
thick clouds _where spiritual _bondages begin to be _broken,
sick are _healed, and devils _flee through our _ministry.
